Purchase: I tried out the saddle on my first endurance ride. I bought it from the manufacturer, $1695.
Likes: No more back pain for me! It's really easy to stay light in the saddle or off the horse's back. Our horses' backs are much happier and healthier too because of the adjustable panel and shim system. We can really customise them to fit the individual horse. We have colored leather that matches our biothane bridles on the seat and flaps. Our equine chiropractor really likes them too.
Dislikes: I am short and the thick wide leathers don't twist easily to make the stirrup hang perpinducular to the horse. But I have gotten used to it. You have to be careful to put the shims in the right place for best fit, but once you get used to it it doesn't take long and much better fit than a off the rack saddle.

Summary: My husband and son have now also bought the same model but with tooling. People stop us on rides to ask where we got such beautiful saddles.
