Purchase: I bought Roma's regular open front boots and ankle boots from State Line Tack for $30 per pair. I use them everyday on my jumper horses.
Likes: I love that the design of Roma's boots is almost identical to that of Eskadron's for a fraction of the price. For everyday use I prefer the Roma boots because they are more cost effective and more easily replaceable for the same quality product.
Dislikes: When being used everyday they do get scuffed up but they are affordable enough to keep a spare set just for shows.
Quality: I have had one set of boots for 3 years now and the outer shell and velcro closures are still in great shape. The Roma Gel-tec boots are exactly the same as the Eskadron gel boots for 1/3 the price.
Summary: I would recommend these over Eskadron for anyone who is planning on using them everyday, and even for those who are looking for a nice show-quality boot on a budget.
