Purchase: I purchased my boots from Mounted Police Worldwide and found them very comfortable and reasonably warm. I paid about $99.00 for them. During the winter I ride in them about five days a week.
Likes: I loved the fleece foot bed and the fact that they were waterproof. They had a comfortable fit with the elastic calf.
Dislikes: The fleece compacted and didn't work as well after a couple of months. I had to replace it and still had to wear thick wool socks with liners. I also had trouble with the sole separating from the boot after one season of wear.
Quality: The glued-on sole is sort of an issue with me. It separated from the shoe in the bend of the foot. This resulted in some serious water leakage. The zipper is stout and the rest of the boot is well made.
Summary: These boot work great but I would buy them a couple of sizes bigger than needed so you can wear thick wool socks. If you don't work in them everyday you will get a lot of mileage from them.
