Purchase: I bought my first Hamilton Halter twenty four years ago at a local feed store and we Still use it daily. These halters are fantastic and the only kind I'll buy now. While this halter is now faded, no longer pretty and the tab has long ago come off the end. It is still strong and very useful. We use it on our rowdy stallion when we breed him. We also use it on most of the horses when we are need a good strong safe halter on them. I highly recommend Hamilton Halters for any serious horseman/woman as a good investment.
Likes: These halters are durable and obviously last for many years of use. Very much worth the money!
Dislikes: The only down side that I have found about these halters is that everybody doesn't sell them so sometimes it takes a while to find some when I go shopping!
Quality: To put it simply, I have never had one to break! Now for folks who leave halters on their horses that could be a bad thing. I don't often leave halters on my pastured or stalled horses so have had no problem. But these things are tough and get ugly before they wear out for sure.
Summary: I will continue to buy Hamilton Halters as long as they are made as well as the ones I have now. Twenty Four years and counting is a very long time to have a halter. The halter has outlived the horse it was purchased for. I just think they are the best!
