Purchase: I bought my 2000D new in 2001 for $2,300 with fittings. I purchased it because I have very long legs, and my trainer recommended it. It was the first saddle to fit me and put me in a correct position.
Likes: I LOVE it. It has been a great saddle. I ride many different horses, and found that it fits many types very well. The Prestige dealer came to me and fitted the saddle to my horse, but I rode everything from TBs, to warmloods to Friesians in it with no problem. I also received two fittings FREE over 2 years for my horse as she developed.
Dislikes: I have no problems with this saddle. I have ridden in many high end saddles, and this one works best for me.
Quality: This saddle is VERY high quality. I ride A LOT and it looks brand new after all these years. You MUST NEVER use saddle soap or glycerin products on this saddle, as it has a special coating on the leather. I have seen some that look awful because saddle soap was used. I used Beeswax and it worked great.
Summary: This saddle is well worth the price and great quality.
As with any saddle, try before you buy. Nothing fits every person and horse. Thus why there are so many saddles out there. Treat it like the investment it is, and it will last.
