Purchase: I got them direct from the manufacturer, only because they offered free shipping and a promo offer. I paid 69.99 for them.
Likes: I love that they are very easy to use. I tried the other sport boots to see if i liked them, and my horse liked them. He hates anything on his legs, including splint boots, wraps, most bells, etc. He gets all weird, and has a hard time working because he hates anything on his legs. I LOVE the 2 straps, makes things SO MUCH easier. They are a cinch to put on, and in half the time of the other boots. He actually stands still while this are on, without the annoying lifting of the leg in the air like its bothering him, etc. We do lots of trail riding, and even ride in mud and rain, and they stay on perfectly. The second strap is great, it gives that added security to the joint that I think is what makes my horse feel so much better in them.
Dislikes: Nothing, I think they work really well, and really do stay on and keep the dirt/mud out.
Quality: It is neoprene lining that has wholes for the air to pass through, and a breathable outer shell for the air to get out, and dirt to stay out. The velcro is very sticky, and if you put the bottom piece next to the top one, it makes putting them on much easier.
Summary: They look sharp, do the job, and aren't that costly. I did use them on the back as well, with the same good results. I think they should make a size a little different for the back, but still worked very well. Worth a try!!
