Close Contact Saddles
Manufacturer: Beval
Model: Stamford
Category: Close Contact Saddles
Purchase: I got this saddle as an early Birthday present. I got it at a tack shop in Franklin, TN.
Likes: It is VERY soft and cushy, with nice leather. I like that it has knee blocks, and the girth billets are numbered, which is very useful. Since it is light colored (caramel), I was worried about oiling it because naturally it would darken the leather. When I oiled it, it darkened, but it was an even more beautiful color.
Dislikes: Nothing, although I did have to use a riser pad on both horses I rode on.
Quality: It has very soft leather, and is made very well.
Summary: The most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden in. Everyone at my barn loves it.
