Purchase: Local Tack Shop Fall of 2004 for around $80 (The price has since increased)
Likes: The boots are very easy to apply, with two layers of velcro fastenings. The lining is a foam material that molds really well to my horse's legs.
Dislikes: The lining does absorb water, so the boots tend to get a little heavy when wet. The outside tends to pick up limestone, and turns gray with use. You have to scrub pretty hard to remove it. Also, they are sized a little small. I bought a S/M for my 15.3 hand gelding, since he has short cannons. The boots fit, but are almost too tight and too short.
Quality: The outer layer is a heavy duty rubber plastic-like material. The lining is an absorbent foam. The boots have held up very well with over two years of daily use, and are still handsome enough to use in the jumper ring.
Summary: Great boot for schooling and show. You might want to buy a size bigger than you think you might need.
