Purchase: I got these as my first pair of riding boots for $80 at Parade Acres Tack And Harness Shop.
Likes: They seemed good at first, but that was because I had never had field boots before. Now that I have more experience I realize what terrible boots they were.
Dislikes: I rode in them no more than ten hours a week at most for no more than four months. I got them in the summer but didn't wear them at all in the winter. When I started wearing them again in spring they started to leak and my feet would smell like manure every time I took them off. When I looked for the leak I expected to find a small hole where the stitching had broken. Instead I found a HUGE hole in the side of the boot that was 3 inches long at least. I couldn't believe that there was nothing but glue holding the boot together. I would give these boots 0 stars if I could. DO NOT BUY THEM THEY ARE AWFUL!!!!
Quality: The quality and construction of the boots are terrible. Again DO NOT BUY THEM!!!
Summary: The bottom line is that I think Devon Aire should take those boots off the market. PLEASE tell everyone you know who is looking for boots NOT to buy them.
