Purchase: I was looking for an all-around riding saddle. I tried several other saddles from a local dealership, none of them fit my horse of me right. Finally, I came across my Tex Tan and it was wonderful. It fit my horse and me perfect. I paid around $1,000.
Likes: My horse has a very unbalanced and difficult stride. It was very hard to find a comfortable saddle that fit both him and I. This saddle is the only saddle i tried that both my horse and I could stay balanced and comfortable. Since having this saddle my horse has stopped most all of his bad habits.
Dislikes: I have no bad things to say about this saddle. I absolutely love it!!!
Quality: Tex Tan saddles are extremely durable. I have thrown my saddle around, my horse has thrown this saddle around. It has stood up to several hours of hard ranch work. It is also a saddle I could use in a show ring. It is an all-around nice quality well-constructed saddle.
Summary: I would not trade this saddle for and other saddle. It is by far the nicest and most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden in. Not only can it stand up to just about everything but, it also is extremely nice looking. I would highly recommend this saddle to everyone, from beginners who are just starting out to the retired ladies who still enjoy the pleasure of riding.
