Purchase: I purchased it at Arney's for about 800.00 new with a trade in of my Circle Y. I didn't need a new saddle but sat on the Crates in the store on a whim, it was so comfortable I HAD to have it.
Likes: It has fit just about every horse I have used it on, and I can spend hour upon hour in this saddle with no discomfort.
Dislikes: I didn't like the color, the light leather, but didn't want to wait the 9 months it would take to get the color I wanted, but over time it has "aged" to a color I now like very much! I use it for both reining and trail riding.
Quality: Top quality construction and great quality.
Summary: I have since bought two more crates saddles, a reining one, for my husband and a pleasure one for guest ranch use.
