Fly Control
Manufacturer: Absorbine
Model: DuraGuard
Category: Fly Control
Purchase: I was looking for a new fly spray (because NOTHING works out here(MN)) and saw this neon orange bottle at fleet farm. It was on sale for about $15 so I decided to try it out.
Likes: It works fairly decently, flies will land on my horse but they will fly off immediately.
Dislikes: It definitely does not last the advertised 14 days, and I would be surprised if it lasted an entire day. It does not seem to kill flies on contact, and they were still landing on my horse right after I sprayed her. The smell isn't very pleasant, but I wouldn't expect much with fly spray.
Quality: It's the usual quart sprayer, but it has a nice nozzle with settings for spray and stream. It doesn't seem as if it would fall apart if I dropped it (like my last bottle of WipeII did).
Summary: It's decent in the way of fly control, and I suppose it works about as well as anything else. I have yet to find that perfect fly spray!
