Manufacturer: M. Toulouse
Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: I bought this saddle at a local tack store for $1080 new. I was shopping for a used saddle, but couldn't find any that fit both my horse and I. I liked this one better than the more expensive used brands.
Likes: I love the sticky leather! I feel so secure riding in this saddle. I feel well balanced, relaxed, and comfortable in it. I went from not liking dressage to actually preferring this saddle over my others for comfort. After sitting in dozens of other brands (some MUCH more expensive) this is the only saddle that made me feel really comfy. The leather and quality are very good. I've got no complaints!
Dislikes: The channel is not as wide as my horse would prefer.
Quality: Good quality materials and workmanship. I like the leather that is used. It is very soft and sticky. This saddle breaks in well.
Summary: Very nice saddle, especially considering the low price. Very comfortable and a pleasure to ride in, even on extra long trail rides.
Usefulness Rating: 2.69231 out of 5.
