Purchase: I was given the saddle for my birthday from my parents. We got it at a local tack shop. I was needing a saddle desperately because I have a horse but I didn't have a saddle that fits me. With tax, this saddle was $1745.
Likes: Everything! the seat is wider than most saddles, so it gives more support and security. The knee rolls and thigh blocks help my equitation. The leather is excellent quality and very beautiful. =) The flocking is very nice. I think this saddle is comfortable for my horse, as well.
Dislikes: Well, i don't appreciate the fact that parts of the saddle are made of calfskin *shudders*. Also, the saddle had a few noticable scratches on the flap when i purchased it, and the tack shop really should have knocked at least $100 off the price.
Quality: The leather is comfortable, top notch quality, durable, and nice looking. The seat is supportive, the knee rolls are very comfortable. the wool flocking is really nice.
Summary: I am pleased with my saddle. I would recommend this saddle to anyone who rides hunt seat.
