Cross Country Gloves
Model: Cross Country Gloves
Category: English Miscellaneous
Purchase: I needed some cheap gloves for everyday riding. I was just beginning showing, so I bought 2 pairs. They were purchased off of Statelinetack.com and I paid about 5 dollars each.
Likes: At that time, I wasn't doing cross-country, but basic riding, jumping, and small shows. The gloves suited my needs so well! They are very comfortable, have good grip, not too thick [I hate gloves that are too thick! I like having a "feel"], and looked pretty nice. Recently, I even used them at a recognized 3-day event! I've probably bought between 4 and 5 pairs of these gloves, but thats only because I have a habit of losing them. The black does not lose the coloring. Neither does the light teal. None of them have holes, even after hard riding over more than 6 months. They are super easy to wash, too!
Dislikes: If your hands sweat, the gloves don't breath very easily. My solution is to take the gloves off during walk breaks during my ride. There really isn't much to not like about these gloves, other than that.
Quality: 100% cotton knit gloves have reinforced, pebble-grip palms and velcro fasteners. The quality? I think these gloves may be indestructible!
Summary: These gloves are fantastic- especially for only 5 bucks. You really cannot beat the price. They aren't A- circuit quality, but they are great for smaller shows. They are an awesome everyday riding glove, especially for those who can't exactly throw money around. I love these gloves! SSG is my favorite glove brand. I swear by them.
