Purchase: Shipped via Cheval's website or SmartPak (its much easier). Price depends on the size of container from Cheval, or the amount of scoops (product) in your SmartPak. Mine runs about 42 cents a day.
Likes: I have a dapple grey Oldenburg. When I got him, he was washed out and more white and grey than black/grey and grey. He looked fine, but at a recent horse show, I noticed that he looked faded compared to a few other darker looking greys. I found this product through an ad in Practical Horseman and did some checking on it with my vet and trainer. My trainer had heard of the products but had never tried them and wanted me to give it a try if the vet okay'd it. My vet was fine with the products all natural ingredients. The conditioner has worked very well. My horse is considerably darker - and has a better contrast between the grey and black. He's looking great. I've had him on it for two months. Silver Horse combines Shark Legs within the ingredients making this an ideal product for harder working show horses.
Dislikes: You may need to pull your horse from the product for a week or so before any rated shows as some of the natural ingredients may come up in a drug test. Luckily, Cheval makes a show formula if you're very concerned. It has not been a problem at all for me and we show (jumpers) in A shows.
Quality: All natural.
Summary: The company makes many different coat enhancing products for all colors. I'm very happy with it.
