Purchase: I bought these boots from State Line Tack online for around 25 dollars because I wanted support for my horse's front legs. As well, my horse ever so slightly interfered when shod, and I needed the protection.
Likes: I love the material Devon Aire used for this boot. It is soft and stretchy and ideal for splint boots. These boots barely have any wear on them, although I have only used them about 20 times. However, my horse is very comfortable in these and they protect her legs beautifully. They also stay on in shallow mud and deep sand without ever turning or slipping.
Dislikes: These boots are a little hot after long periods of time, but not excessively so. Just something to keep in mind. As well, the little wear that these boots have are on the insides (where my horse usually brushes), but the wear doesn't interfere with function or look of the boots at all.
Quality: Great construction and quality. No problems here. These are a great buy for he rider who only occasionally needs splint boots. However, I cannot attest to their every day wear.
Summary: I have nothing to say but good things about these boots.
