Category: Jumping Saddles

Purchase: I had been looking for a saddle that would fit my horse and me. Comfort was the main concern. I am a smaller frame and found that every saddle I tried was a harder, slippery leather and was uncomfortable for longer rides - for me and my horse. I also slipped often during jumps. My trainer suggested I try a saddle that belonged to an girl at our barn. I tried it and immediately fell in love with it. My horse refused a jump and I didn't move from the saddle. I immediately called the local rep and he sent me a demo saddle. The next week I ordered mine ($4000!) and in four months, mine was completed and shipped to me. I was able to keep the demo while mine was being made for me (cant beat that!) I ultimately ended up buying the demo saddle as well for schooling and using the new one for shows and competitions.

Likes: It is incredibly comfortable, functional and fits every horse I ride. It looks amazing on my horse. I am secure in my seat over jumps and while just riding. I will never own another brand of saddle.

Dislikes: N/A

Quality: The calfskin leather is buttery and gorgeous. I purchased the light brown calf skin with the buffalo knee rolls. When you first oil the saddle it turns a wonderful chocolate brown with white stitching. It is spectacular! The quality is amazing and I know I will have it for years. The demo saddle I purchased was a year old and well worn. It is the grain leather with the buffalo knee rolls as well. This saddle cleaned up is gorgeous as well - I still like the look of the calfskin better - but this saddle is just as comfy and buttery!

Summary: Do it - Buy one - spend the money - you will just keep buying saddles looking for the right one if you don't - I sure did. You will not regret your purchase!
