Purchase: I bought this saddle from www.saddleupshop.com after I did a demo on the original Endurance saddle and loved how it fit me and my arab gelding. I decided to upgrade to the new Gen II model as I loved the new features, such as the extra cush in the seat, the gel under the bars and the ergo stirrups. I bought the saddle for $1700.
Likes: I LOVE the seat in the Gen II models. If you think the original Tucker seats are cushy and comfy, they're nothing compared to the Gen II seats! The replacement of the original foam (on top of the gel cush) with memory foam changes it entirely. Also nice is the ergo stirrups, which create a flat footbed when the fender is turned, instead of the angled footbed like regular stirrups. Before learning about the Gen II stirrups, I was planning on buying a pair of Crooked Stirrups for this very purpose. I also love how well it fits my gelding and how light it is.
Dislikes: So far, nothing. They did ship the saddle with the wrong stirrups (an error in the ordering process) but they are sending the correct ones as a replacement. Their customer service was very helpful and quick.
Quality: The leather and craftsmanship is of a very high quality.
Summary: Overall, great saddle. Possibly not worth QUITE what they're charging, but the cush on my tush was worth it to me.
