Purchase: I bought these leathers from a local tack shop for around $120 dollars. I bought them because they matched the color of my saddle and I thought Pessoa to be a reputable brand.
Likes: I liked the color, and the leather---AT FIRST.
Dislikes: A lot. They just didn't last---after a few months (even with oiling) they cracked and never really broke in. They were extremely long (someone tell me whose legs are THAT long) as well and I had to trim over 6 inches off (and I'm 5'6)--so if you are not EXTREMELY tall then get the children's size if you just must buy these leathers. They stretched...they cracked...they never broke in---I would not suggest these.
Quality: The leather looked to be sturdy but was stiff when I bought them. I thought they would loosen up after oiling---they did not. Pessoa's leather has gone downhill--it's not of good quality. The stitching--however--has held and looks to be very tight.
Summary: Shame on me for wasting over $100 on junk. I would not recommend---not worth the price even though I think the tack shop overpriced them compared to what dover charges.
