Purchase: I purchased my Berney Bros Dublin Jumper off of ebay for about $500. I had ridden in one that my friend swore by, and liked it. Once I got my own on my horse I was hooked.
Likes: This is a very forward saddle, quite close contact and lightweight. The knee rolls are incredibly comfortable, it's well-balanced, and feels like being well-supported by almost nothing. It's incredibly handsome, to boot. I've ridden in other saddles that I've liked, but this one is high on the list of very favorites.
Dislikes: I've ridden in it for a year and have yet to register a complaint!
Quality: Very high quality - old world hand craftsmanship. Mine is black leather, but you can custom order from the saddlery in Ireland and choose from different options for leather and color.
Summary: Try one out - they are unusual here in the States, so it may take some looking. A very good buy, even if you have it made in Ireland and have it shipped. I researched this and these saddles still come up cheaper than other popular jumping saddles, and are a great value.
