Manufacturer: Imus 4 Beat
Model: Imus 4 beat saddle, breast collar & pad, Plantation style
Category: Trail Saddles
Purchase: I purchased this saddle from Imus new on sale with shipping $1600.00. I was looking for a comfortable, Trail saddle to fit my wide backed, almost mutton withered TWH. I had read many reviews on different gaited threads
Dislikes: I find the seat bouncy and didn't feel contact with my horse. I felt like I was riding in a sling suspended above my horses back. The "english"style stirrup leathers with 'fleece' protects still pinched my leg. The wide saddle didn't fit my horse. The saddle moved all over his back left to right. Finally, putting the saddle where they suggest you place sored my horses shoulders. The Amish saddle pad with synthetic fleece made matters worse. The return policy was too short for a saddle trail.
Quality: Mediocre compared to other saddles of the same price range
Summary: Sorry I purchased this saddle, a terrible waste of money. Can't even sell it!
Usefulness Rating: 2.625 out of 5.
