Purchase: I bought these for $80 dollars from State Line Tack so I could go on long trail rides and not have my feet hurt.
Likes: I love the lightness and flexibility of these boots. The cushion is great, too. These are the boots for the long trail rides or just long days mucking out stalls. I often run along side my horse, and these boots are great for those times I need to give my horse's back a break.
Dislikes: The laces break after a year or so. As well, the place where the boot bends wears, and eventually there will be a big hole in your boot. The hole will usually appear in a year or so, and the boots have to be replaced.
Quality: The construction is great, the only exception being the hole noted above. The rest of the boot holds up great. However, the leather tends to get a little stiff after creek rides and with time.
Summary: These are good boots, but I recommend spending the extra 10 or 15 dollars and getting the water proof version. These boots just don't seem to last longer than a year to a year and a half or so.
