Trekker Treeless
Trail Saddles

Manufacturer: Trekker Treeless
Model: Talent
Category: Trail Saddles

Purchase: I bought my TREKKER and fittings online through their website and found them very helpful and obliging. It was excellent value for money at approx. $1200 NZ for saddle, special saddlepad, beautiful anatomical girth, fenders and oxbows (also including post and duty tax). Very cost-effective I thought!

Likes: I wanted to go to a treeless saddle as I heard it makes you feel more secure being in such close contact. When I received my saddle within 10 days (from Germany to NZ), I found this to be true as well as being light to handle and looked very attractive on my pony who loved it (which made for pleasant riding on a more willing steed)! Like riding in a soft, leather armchair is how to best describe it! English billet system for the girth is a good choice as a lot of riders prefer that.

Dislikes: It needed to have more instructions on fitting the inserts, but it wasn't a major issue. The stirrup system is like Western with a ring instead of a bar.

Quality: Manufacture and quality was very good.

Summary: Very enjoyable riding experience - I wouldn't go back to a treed saddle as I have now been spoiled! Best option for you and your pony as the TREKKER is kind on you and him.
