Manufacturer: Harry Dabbs / Jaguar
Model: XKC Close Contact
Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: Through my instructor she is a distributor. I paid about $2,800 (CAD). I had a really hard time fitting my warmblood mare and I had recently been in a car accident and my previous dressage saddle was causing me discomfort.
Likes: It's very comfortable, doesn't give me any back pain, and it fits my mare very well. And I know that if I ever had to sell it, I would get a good trade in price.
Dislikes: The billets. It's near impossible to find a saddle pad that has velcro attachments long enough to reach the second billet. And you can't use the first because it starts about an inch above the bottom of the billet. But I just add an extra piece of velcro onto the saddle pad and it works out fine.
Quality: The leather is beautiful and the billets though annoying are very durable.
Summary: Great saddle if you can afford it. I know it's expensive but if it works for your horse you won't regret it!
