Purchase: I ordered my Collegiate from Smartpakequine.com for $730. I needed a new saddle and found that Collegiates were the best for me.
Likes: The Collegiate Finalist is simply a gorgeous saddle with wonderful craftsmanship. After 5 years of riding in a Wintec AP I knew that I needed a change and chose this wonderful CC. I love the position it puts me in and although the seat is shallower than my AP, I feel a lot more secure over fences and all in all my equitation seems to have improved a lot for the better.
Dislikes: The only things that I don't like about this saddle are the stirrup bars. They are made to be really recessed in order to eliminate any discomfort for the rider, however it was really hard to get my leathers into them because they are so tight and far back.
Quality: Beautiful construction with a lovely tobacco-brown leather and tan base. My saddle is still brand new yet the leather is so soft and supple.
Summary: I really recommend this saddle to anyone who can't afford to spend thousands of dollars on a saddle yet still wants quality, show worthy equipment. This saddle is just a great investment for the money!
