Purchase: I was looking for an everyday western headstall and reins that were well made and affordable. I paid $45 and $10 more for shipping from their store on Ebay.
Likes: Nothing.
Dislikes: The item was not as pictured and I have sent it back for a refund. The edges were not dyed black (as shown), there were numerous black spots on the leather, the brass buckles had rough discolored spots that were not tarnish, and the stitching was sloppy.
Quality: Leather is soft & flexible, but seems weak in spots and I would not consider it in any way "heavy duty." There are lots of rough, unfinished edges. Craftsmanship is shoddy and looks cheap.
Summary: Waste of money and time. The company is waiving their normal 20% restock fee, but I will still lose the shipping costs. They were unapologetic about the misrepresentation of the item on their website. I do not trust them and would not recommend them to anyone despite the "testimonials" on their website.
