Purchase: The flies are after me and my horses! I rushed to the local Greenhawk, walking down the aisles, pondering over my choices, finally picking up a bottle of Absorbine Concentrate fly spray for about $20. I opened my wallet, wow, a lot more left over than I thought! Fly spray always seem expensive.
Likes: This fly spray is easy to use and lasts for about 1-2 days and even after light sweating. It's always nice to know that my horse won't turn black from the sun, with the added coat sun screens and conditioners. Apply daily, until an effective barrier of protection has been formed, it has to build up!
Dislikes: Yikes! Horse flies are still a nuisance, and the smell gives you hallucinations. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but overall, repels most of the bugs it claims.
Quality: Open up your wallet again, you have to buy a sprayer for the solution after it has been mixed.
Summary: Good, probably works just as well as any other fly spray I have tried. I still love UltraShield, but it is too expensive. I probably will continue to buy this as it lasts a long time. I only wish a fly spray would live up to all my expectations- guess I will have to keep dreaming...
