Purchase: I bought this bridle 'cause I needed a schooling bridle for my horse. I purchased it from Dover for $39.90 on their website.
I liked that it was padded, and the picture on the website made it look like a nice, but inexpensive bridle.
Likes: Well, at first I thought it was pretty.
The padding is kinda squishy, and it is than that of my show bridle; I thought that was kinda cool.
Dislikes: Well, I'll begin by saying it is a piece of crap.
The first time I opened the box it came in was at my barn, at night.
So in the almost pitch darkness it's pretty.
Anyway, I took it to try on my horse the day after and I realized that the leather on the underside of the bridle (especially the noseband) was cracked, wrinkly, and flaky (which, obviously, are not desired characteristics of a new bridle).
Then the stitching decided to begin coming undone.
Then the padding came apart at the edges, showing off the wonderful glue that was holding it in place.
So therefore, I really dislike this bridle.
Quality: Piece of crap.
Stitching came apart, leather cracked, padding fell apart **before ever actually putting it on a horse**.
Summary: Yeah I hate this bridle!
Don't buy it!
Beware of bridles made in India.
I am returning it to Dover.
