Purchase: Hello Barrel Racers, I am here to tell you of my quest for the perfect barrel saddle. I have looked everywhere trying to find a saddle that not only fit myself, but also three horses. I've tried several name brands I will only list a few with initials only. B.Cs. Herf. C.Y. S.Fe. and many trophy saddles individuals had for sale. Trophy saddles are just as the name TROPHEY. Not meant to ride on. My three horses are Cruiser T.B. narrow and high withered, Leo Q.H. high withered but wide shoulders, and Doc also Q.H. but with short withered with more rounded shoulder. My Pish Saddlery fits ALL THREE with using one pad. The horses back has sweat out-lining the entire saddle. The best leather was used, the stitching was very tight, the stamping of the detail was very nice. This saddle is made of a real wood tree with rawhide cover nothing synthetic on this saddle. But, I did request a synthetic sheep wool. In closing I'll say it is very comfortable to barrel race and to pleasure ride as well. I encourage you. If you are looking for the real deal, give Mike Pish a call in Greenville, Texas this man will make it right. I paid 1100.00 for my custom saddle. Purchased through Neil at Cowboy Tack shop.
