Purchase: I actually stumbled upon this on eBay, while looking for something to fit my VERY mutton withered youngster.
Likes: I LOVE it!!! It's rather lightweight,it has the Equi-Flex tree and it actually fits and moves with my flat withered horse. The padding on the seat is GREAT and it's a very handsome saddle, despite this model not having any silver or 'decorative stuff'.
Dislikes: There is nothing. One thing to consider is that they must build these things for TALL people. I'm 5'7" and I had to take it in to my local saddle shop to have the legs shortened and holes punched so that I could take it up further. (and I DON'T have short legs!) That could be a problem for you, if you are short.
Quality: My saddler was VERY impressed with the quailty and the leather used!! So impressed, in fact, he contacted Continental Saddlery so that he could become a dealer! He says that these are MUCH nicer than most of what he works on and sees these days. He could not say enough about the quality of the leather and the workmanship!
Summary: I LOVE it! It's beautiful to look at, even though it's not one of the more decorated saddles that they make. It's not too heavy, it's comfy and best of all- it fits my horse! I get a lot of nice comments when I have this saddle out!
