Purchase: I needed a saddle for my new horse, and my riding instructor recommended this saddle to me. I ordered it online from Dover Saddlery and paid about $1000 for it.
Likes: First thing, the saddle breaks in VERY nicely after a few hours of riding and cleaning it. The leather is soft and doesn't show scratches or other signs of wear very well. It is very comfy and it is great for all sorts of riders. Whether you do dressage, trail ride, or jump, or all of those, this saddle will is perfect for all of them! Also, it's gullet is changeable, so no matter what size horse who have, it will fit.
Dislikes: There is just one thing I don't like about this saddle: the colour. It should come in different colours, maybe black, chestnut, and a darker brown.
Quality: The quality of the leather is wonderful. It's soft and flexible. So long as you clean it regularly, it will definitely last several life times!! (I learned to ride on this kind of saddle, the one I used on the riding lesson horses was about 60 years old and in GREAT condition)
