Model: 16 inch Trail Saddle
Category: Trail Saddles
Purchase: I got this saddle from Stateline tack for $299. This came with the saddle, a girth, a bridle, and a saddle cover.
Likes: This saddle has fit any horse I have rode in it. I really like it, and now find it comfortable. It has held up very well.
Dislikes: The stirrups were too long. I had to burn holes in the nylon. Almost everyone who has rode in this saddle has had to use the whole made in the nylon, instead of the ones the company made in the letter. Also many people do not like it. They find it very uncomfortable and insecure. I didnt like it at firs, but after adjusting, I like it just fine.
Quality: I think it is very well made. The only problem I have had after owning 2 of these saddles are the sand paper coming off the stirrups, which is no biggie.
Summary: This is a nice saddle for someone starting out, or an english rider wanting to ride western sometimes. This would also be a good lesson saddle because of its durability.
Usefulness Rating: 2.66667 out of 5.
