Purchase: I bought this for £35 from a local store. I bought it to add underneath my TB horses stable and turnout rugs as an extra lair for the cold winter days.
Likes: Its a combo so has a full neck which can also be folded back when not needed.
It doesnt slip underneath and keeps the rug on top right even though it doesnt have any surcingles which worried me a bit to begin with.
Its very quick and eays to put on.
Nice and cosy for underneath your usual rug! I also put it underneath their combo full neck rugs.
Dislikes: It gets quite messy as its cotton like material but then its not meant to be used on its own - I just found the edges which hung down slightly below my stable rug soaked up lots of poo and pee when my horse lay down (but then my horse is very messy....!). At least its black so doesnt show too much.
The neck part isnt long enough and also isnt big enough so when the horse puts its head down (to eat or whatever), it gets quite tight so I have to only just do up the velcro straps.
Quality: Well made. The rug itself is big enough and deep enough etc. but the neck part isnt big enough (wouldnt fit round my cobs neck!). Warm but not too warm to put under other rugs.
Summary: A good under-rug. Does the job.
