Purchase: I purchased this saddle new from a local tack store. At the time I was looking at another brand but the store owner told me I should try the Lenox.
As soon as I sat in it I was sold.
This is by far the best medium priced Passier dressage saddle I have had the pleasure to sit in.
Likes: I love everything about this saddle. The seat helps me it sit in the proper position without forcing me to do so.
The thigh blocks/knee rolls are not too big as found in many other saddles.
The quality is outstanding. The leather and workmanship are unsurpassed.
I also use this saddle for trail riding and it is comfortable for hours on the trail.
Dislikes: There is nothing I do not like about this saddle.
Quality: The leather is to die for, almost immediate breaking time. The craftsmanship of this saddle is far better than any other brands I have seen.
I bought this saddle in 1999 and it still looks nearly brand new!
Summary: This saddle allows me and my horse the best of everything in this price range.
I could not ask for a better buy than the Passier Lenox as far as quality and comfort for both horse and rider.
Too bad it is a discontinued model.
