Purchase: Saw a advert and purchased the saddle sight unseen from HorseConnection for $1089. I thought it would suit my horse and make her work better but it didn't.
Likes: Comfortable to sit on and gave me a good position in the saddle. I only rode in it for about 30 minutes once.
Dislikes: After I paid and took delivery of the saddle the agent recommended to place the saddle on top of my horse's shoulder because of her wide built and her girth groove. This was never discussed with me before payment of the saddle.
Does not have a safety release bar but a girth ring. The agent did not disclosed this to me. A safety issue if you don't use safety irons. She never recommended to use safety irons.
My horse was reluctant to move forward in it.
Quality: Quality of leather good.
Summary: The seller has a 7 days refund in place but when I wanted a refund she was rude and aggressive.
The 7 days return policy has "conditions" in that if you are unwilling to try suggested solutions to create the perfect fit for your horse you will incur an automatee fee of $100. I followed her suggestions but was not happy to have a saddle sitting on top of my horse's shoulders (plus the absence of safety release bars) but she still kept the $100 "for her time she spent on it and that I did not follow her advise". When I asked what advise I did not follow and if she can clarify she emailed back saying "I believe I answered all your questions and I have no further comments to make".
