Purchase: I purchased the boots from Dover's sale catalogue for $129.00. I needed a pair of boots for my first show, only 2 weeks away.
Likes: The price was affordable and I liked the design of the laces. They have one continuous, elastic strand. You don't have to tie a bow that rests outside your boot.
I also really love the zip up design, I can't imagine getting on/off a pair of boots that didn't zip up in the back.
Dislikes: The sizes run tall and the boot isn't offered in a short height. My pair comes up to the middle of my knee cap.
Quality: I mentioned the laces, I like the finished look of the laces that do not have any kind of a bow hanging out of the boot. Although, this design would present a problem if the laces broke, finding replacements might be hard. The leather is good, but not great.
Summary: These boots are not the most expensive, and you could probably find better quality out there. For someone like me who will wear them for shows maybe a couple times a season they are fine. They look nice and seemed to break in easily.
