Purchase: I paid $360 for this saddle through state line tack about 3 years ago. I got a very good deal as the same model is $500 now. It was the model with the adjustable gullet and CAIR panels.
Likes: I bought this saddle for my 15.2 hh appendix mare. It came with a medium gullet. She had very high withers but also big shoulders and it fit her well so I never had a chance to change the gullet. I would not recommend this saddle for horses with very low withers, however, as the pommel is high, but it fit my appendix along with my big 16.2 hh warmblood. I used it mostly for recreational and trail riding, along with some light jumping (mostly X-rails)This saddle was very comfortable and I never got sore. I rode in it probably about 4 hours a week. I liked how easy it was to clean it, plus it was very lightweight so I had no problems carrying it across the barn. I also bought the wintec leathers that matched the saddle and I liked them also, as they were durable and only stretched minimally.
Dislikes: This saddle is a great first saddle, or if you are a recreational rider, but once I started getting more serious with jumping, my trainer recommended that I get a different saddle that put me more forward and closer to my horse.
Quality: The quality is excellent. The saddle still looked new after 3 years and there was very little wear. All the stitching was intact and all the billets and material on the seat and flaps were in great shape. I ended up selling the saddle on ebay after 3 years because I bought a close-contact saddle, and I received $375 dollars, which is more than I paid!
Summary: Good quality lightweight saddle. I would recommend it to any recreational riders looking for a comfortable, easy to care for saddle.
