Purchase: I first saw ads for this in Magazines and found it at a Fleet Farm store. It is around $15 for two strips. It is a bait/feed strip to kill flies.
Likes: It WORKS! I questioned it at first but before I even got it fully set up I watched a fly land and then quickly die. In just two weeks it killed 100's of flies. It doesn't smell as bad as the fly traps and because there is no water it isn't as gross to clean up.
Dislikes: It can be a little messy to clean up the dead flies because they will build up. You have to find just the right place to put it. Four feet or less from the ground, in an area it won't get wet, not to much sun or shade.
Quality: Well designed and made. I found that using a nail and hammer to break the seal on the bait tube was the easiest. I duct taped it into a bucket so that I could move it around. When the flied build up I just dump them into a bag, throw them away and set the bucket back out.
Summary: The QuikStrike WILL be a future part of my fly control program. The horses and cattle do not come into contact with it. In the bucket I can move it around with no mess and it doesn't smell like the normal fly traps.
