Purchase: I tried on several Pairs of half chaps when I wanted a pair. Ariat was the only brand to fit me at that time. I found them at a tack store that was putting their English stuff on clearance and got them for about 70 us dollars or so. I wanted a cheaper pair but am happy in the long run. :D
Likes: They fit me. Ariat has several sizes so one actually fit me! I Have had them for over 3 years (I ride almost every day!) and LOVE them. I sadly wore them out and they have gotten a little short on me (I grew). Most of my friends wear this brand too and love them. I have even seen a couple of my instructors wear them and tell about how much they like them. I like how they look. I think that they give more of a "tall boot" look because of the leather on the outside. They don't get too hot during the summer (temps up to 100) and to cold during Winter (temps down to 10) They are really comfortable and help me grip my horse well.
Dislikes: almost nothing. I don't like how they are 99 bucks but they are made good and last
Quality: Very well made. Mine have lasted for almost every day riding for almost 3 years! The suede has worn off but I still love them!
Summary: I LOVE these Chaps!! Would recommend them to ALL my friends
