Purchase: I bought this on ebay through a member who is no longer registered. I paid about $60 for it new, with fittings, plus about $40 shipping. I bought it for my husband to practice riding in.
Likes: This saddle was quite a cheap buy. I got it brand new with fittings for only about $100. You can't get cheaper than that. The knees are well-padded.
Dislikes: This saddle is a poor fit on every horse it has been on. The leather is hard and cheap and the craftsmanship leaves much to be desired. The leather that has been stretched across the seat is becoming loose and saggy, with only about 50 hours of riding in it.
Quality: This is an uncomfortable saddle that is not holding up. The leather is becoming loose and some of the color is sloughing off.
Summary: I would not recommend this saddle. While it is inexpensive, it is rough even for a schooling saddle and does not appear very durable. I find it uncomfortable, although my husband seems to not mind it so much. Probably best left where it came from.
