Purchase: I bought this saddle at a local tack shop. The owner of the shop is a master saddler and came out to fit my horse. I paid full retail for this saddle...^$3500 with the Elite leather, as that was all that was in stock.
Likes: I love this saddle and more importantly, my horse loves it more. The saddle fits my horse very well and keeps me in a great position. The leather is absolutely gorgeous and the workmanship in the saddle is wonderful. If I wear full seat breeches I feel like no matter what my mare does, I will stay on her. It's a great sense of self confidence. If my spooky mare spooks out from under me, I feel like I will just stay with her. And, she isn't nearly as spooky anymore since this new saddle.
Dislikes: The price is significant, but honestly, I feel it was worthwhile.
Quality: The quality of the saddle is just beautiful. The leather is dreamy. The saddle fitter/owner of the tack store was able to custom flock the saddle for my mare on site.
Summary: Love this saddle and wouldn't have thought of spending so much for a saddle previously. It was the only saddle that fit both my horse and I well.
