Purchase: I needed a warm, durable pair winter riding boots, that could stand up to extreme weather. I bought my Mountain Horse Ice Rider boots from Dover Saddlery. The cost was $97.80.
Likes: They are insulated, tall boots, without the bulky foot. They fit into both my english and western stirrups without hesitation. They are waterproof and breathable. I liked that I could ride, and muck with these boots, and not worry about getting cold feet. They have elastic around the top, so you can fit them around MANY size calves. The back has a zipper, so they are easy on/off.
Dislikes: They are not appropriate for showing.
Quality: These boots are well put together. The quality is awesome for the price. I have no doubt that they will last me for years to come. They have made these boots for the most extreme weather. They might even work for Antarctica!
Summary: I would like to tell the whole world about these boots. You will get more riding time in during the winter. You will not be putting on 5 layers of socks, and then attempting to shove that bulk into your regular riding boots.
