Purchase: I purchased this helmet for $120 at Pleasant Hills Saddle Shop in Lakeville, Minnesota. This was a replacement for my previous helmet, which was shattered in a riding accident.
Likes: This is an inexpensive lightweight helmet that can be used for schooling or showing. It is easy to clean and doesn't require a lot of maintenance.
Dislikes: Despite trying multiple sizes, I have not been able to find one that really fits my head without giving me a headache after riding for more than an hour or two. It is not adjustable at all, so if your head doesn't fit their shape, you are out of luck.
Quality: Velvet exterior, leather chinstraps and a hard inner shell. This helmet has lasted the five years it is expected to last and still looks excellent.
Summary: I would recommend this helmet to anyone looking for an inexpensive schooling or show helmet. This helmet has a classic look combined with safety and a lightweight feel, so you are protected while riding without too much obstruction. However, I would recommend fitting it in a store before buying, to make sure it fits your head.
