Purchase: I purchased this saddle used from a woman in Texas. I paid $400 for it, although they normally run in the $2000-3000 bracket. Mine had some wear so I got it for a drastic discount.
Likes: I liked the idea of the spring seat, although I never actually had a chance to ride in it.
Dislikes: This saddle had a very narrow tree and did not fit on any of my seven thoroughbreds or stock horses. It was a medium tree, but was so unbearably narrow that I simply couldn't put my horses through the pain of trying it out.
Quality: High-quality leather, spring seat to help lift you off the saddle and cushion your landing, not as popular in the US as in Europe.
Summary: I was not impressed with this saddle and because I live in the US and ride US breeds, I should have stuck with saddles popular here, where evidently the waistlines of our horses are a bit wider than in Europe. While it might have worked on a very narrow thoroughbred or maybe some European breeds, it did not work on our thoroughbreds or stock horses and was bad enough that I never even tried it before I sold it (for a loss) to someone else.
