Purchase: I purchased this from a saddle shop in Lakeville, MN. It costs about $16 for a small jar. I bought it mainly because I wanted to splurge and was curious.
Likes: This hoof polish stays on a long time, and if given adequate time to dry, doesn't chip off as easily as others. Even the heart and star sparkles will last for weeks. It's quite cute.
Dislikes: Mainly the price. The product itself is great, but because it s a novelty, it is quite expensive. The jar holds enough polish for about three or four applications, and that is all. Some of them are clear, so you also need to buy the black undercoat, although Twinkle Toes works well as a sealant for black polish.
Quality: This stuff stays on for weeks and weeks, and I have seen sparkles after six weeks still remain. It comes with an application tip in a glass jar.
Summary: Fun item to buy for parades, shows, costumes, and for that special horse person who has everything but needs a horse-related gift. Loads of fun. Expensive, but well worth it if you like sparkles!
