Purchase: I purchased these through Country Supply for roughly $3 each. They are a rather generic dewormer for the control of pinworms, hookworms, and roundworms.
Likes: Apple flavored and easy to handle. Even my baby likes this dewormer, with its apple flavoring. Not all horse dewormers are flavored and most should be. The plunger doesn't stick and the paste comes out easily.
Dislikes: Because it's pyrantel, it is not a broad-spectrum dewormer and can only be used once or twice a year, at most.
Quality: Generic brand, flavored. Standard administration tube.
Summary: Great price for the money, and good for hard to deworm horses and babies, who are not used to deworming. Good for a rotational program in winter months.
