Category: Jumping Saddles
Purchase: I was in need for a new saddle because I have been doing a lot of jumping on many different horses. I found my Pessoa at The Equestrian Shop in Massachusetts.
Likes: The Pessoa A/O seems to fit just about every horse that I ride, ranging from smaller Morgans to wider warmbloods. It really helps keep the riders leg still and in good position while jumping bigger fences.
Dislikes: The leather needs a lot more care than many other saddles that I have owned in the past. However, this really doesn't bother me because I like to keep the leather in good condition.
Quality: The quality of this saddle is excellent and the seat is just perfect while jumping. The seat is not as deep as many other saddles which helps keeps the rider from falling behind when jumping higher fences.
Summary: The Pessoa A/O is an excellent saddle and I recommend it to anyone who has an interest in jumping. However, these are not cheap saddles so is your price range is lower than $1,000, I suggest you look into different types of Pessoas.
