Purchase: I wanted a saddle that was lightweight, easy to maintain, and had a great warrenty on it. I purchased this saddle from Dover Saddlery. I paid $1620.00 for this saddle.
Likes: This saddle is designed by a world champion jumper, named Nelson Pessoa. These saddles are built on a sculpted steel tree, that has a 100 year warrenty! This saddle could be passed down in the will! This saddle is well balanced and puts you into a great foward jumping position with ease. This saddle conforms well to both my AQHA and my TB mare. It is in a beautiful multipurpose havana color. This stitching detail on this saddle is BEAUTIFUL!
Dislikes: I did not enjoy paying for this saddle. It is a little spendy, but it makes a good investment.
Quality: Latex molded panels make this saddle super smooth. It has thinker panals than the original, and a slightly wider channel for a more confortable ride for both rider and horse. This saddle contains soft caldskin. It comes in many sizes, and is made with a medium or wide tree. So this saddle could fit your narrower tbs or your wider warmbloods.
Summary: I bought this saddle, bacause I needed a great saddle that I could depend on. I wanted one that looked great on many different horse, and one that would catch the judges eye. I achieved all these things by purchasing this saddle, and if I won the lottery, I would buy tons of these, just to look at. The quality and beauty of the leather they choose to make these saddles with is magnificant.
