Model: Tucker High Plains with Rounded Skirt (View all Tucker High Plains with Rounded Skirt reviews)
Category: Trail Saddles
Purchase: I ordered this saddle through Horsey Habit of Manitowoc WI. I paid $1995.00
Likes: First and foremost it seems to fit my horse well. The front is up and off the shoulders and does not restrict my horse's movement in any way. The sweat pattern indicates that my horse's spine is free to flex and move as needed. And secondly, the comfort of the saddle is wonderful.
Dislikes: The only thing that makes this saddle not suitable for everything is the fact that the stirrups are a little too far forward that my legs are hard to keep under me at the canter. I have to work at keeping my legs under me. So for more "refined" riding, I would not recommend it.
Quality: Great constructions, great quality. No complaints.
Summary: I'd say my experience with the Tucker saddle makes it a great trail saddle. Well built, comfortable for me and I haven't had any complaints from my horse either. Also good looking.
